The Anxiousness Beneath the Skin

‍. Understanding Time Shifts and Timeline Leaps

"Over the past few weeks, I have been noticing a feeling that many others have shared with me as well—a subtle anxiousness beneath the skin, accompanied by an unusual tiredness and a sense that something is shifting. This reflection emerged from a recent Morning Raw transmission and became an exploration of timelines, consciousness, and the possibility that what we are feeling is not fear, but transformation."  Kellie AmaLiana

Lately, I have been noticing something within myself that has been difficult to put into words.

It is not anxiety in the way we typically think of anxiety. There is no obvious cause. No immediate problem to solve. No particular conversation, circumstance, or event that explains its presence.

On the surface, everything appears calm.

Yet beneath that calm is a subtle stirring.

A flutter beneath the skin.

A quickening of the heart.

An energetic hum moving through the body as though something unseen is asking for attention.

Alongside it often comes a deep tiredness. Not simply physical fatigue, but a soul-level exhaustion that seems to invite me into stillness, reflection, and dreamtime. It feels less like depletion and more like a profound need for integration.

For many years I would have assumed that something was wrong.

Now I find myself wondering something different.

What if our bodies are responding to change before our minds understand what is shifting?

My guides often speak about timelines and the pathways of possibility that unfold through every choice we make.

Each decision creates a doorway.

Every conversation, opportunity, challenge, and invitation opens one path while countless others remain available as potential futures.

I often think of the film Sliding Doors, where a single moment changes the entire trajectory of a woman’s life. In one reality she catches the train. In another she misses it. From that seemingly insignificant event, two very different futures emerge.

When we look back on our own lives, we can often identify similar moments.

The conversation that changed everything.

The opportunity we almost declined.

The relationship that ended.

The unexpected event that altered the course of our journey.

Life is constantly presenting us with crossroads.

Yet sometimes the most significant shifts are not the ones we consciously choose.

They are the ones that arrive unexpectedly.

The opportunities disguised as disappointments.

The endings that become beginnings.

The detours that reveal a path we never would have discovered otherwise.

Perhaps these moments are not interruptions to our journey.

Perhaps they are the journey.

What if the experiences we resist most are often the very experiences expanding us into a greater expression of ourselves?

Beyond our personal timeline shifts, I believe there are also moments when humanity experiences collective shifts in consciousness.

Periods when something changes not only within us individually, but within the larger field of awareness itself.

A collective timeline leap.

A collective movement into a new way of perceiving reality.

During these periods, our energetic bodies often adapt more quickly than our physical bodies.

Our souls understand.

Our nervous systems need time to catch up.

What if this feeling is not fear at all?

What if it is the body’s response to expansion?

What if the nervous system is learning to navigate a new landscape of consciousness before the mind has found language to describe it?

Perhaps this is why so many people are feeling exhausted right now.

Perhaps this is why so many are sensing a strange anxiousness beneath the skin.

A feeling that something is changing even when we cannot quite name what it is.

We are living through a period of profound transition. The familiar maps that once guided us no longer seem to offer the same certainty, and many of the landmarks we relied upon are quietly shifting.

As a result, we may find ourselves standing between what has been and what is emerging, sensing that something is changing long before we can fully understand what it is.

Many of us are feeling called toward something we cannot yet fully name.

A deeper truth.

A more authentic expression of ourselves.

A remembrance that seems to arrive not through effort, but through listening.

As these waves of change move through your life, I invite you to be gentle with yourself.

Rest when your body asks for rest.

Create space for stillness when the world encourages urgency.

Trust the wisdom of the pause.

Trust the intelligence moving beneath the surface of what you can currently see.

The caterpillar does not fully understand the process of becoming a butterfly while it is inside the chrysalis. Yet something ancient and wise within it knows exactly what to do.

Perhaps the same is true for us.

Perhaps what feels like uncertainty is actually transformation.

Perhaps what feels like exhaustion is the body’s way of integrating a greater level of awareness.

Perhaps what feels like anxiousness beneath the skin is not a sign that something is wrong, but a signal that something is changing.

Not changing outside of you.

Changing within you.

For we are not merely moving through time.

We are moving through layers of consciousness.

We are remembering ourselves.

Remembering the wisdom of the soul.

Remembering the language of the heart.

Remembering that we are both human and divine, rooted in the Earth while reaching toward something greater.

And as this remembering unfolds, there is nothing you need to force.

Nothing you need to become.

Only a willingness to listen.

To breathe.

To trust.

To allow yourself to be carried by the intelligence of your own unfolding.

The next version of you is not waiting somewhere in the future.

She is already here.

Quietly emerging through each choice, each breath, each moment of awareness.

And perhaps that subtle flutter beneath the skin is simply her arrival.

With love,

AmaLiana
